Hollywood Forever Wanted Descriptive Text and SEO for Their New Website
When Hollywood Forever was undertaking a redesign of their outdated website, its management team wanted descriptive text to showcase their full range of services. They also wanted SEO, so that new clients could easily find them online. Their major challenge was that many people think about Hollywood Forever only as a historical site or cultural event center, rather than a funeral home and modern cemetery. Because I am a bit of a history buff, I was very excited to work with them.
Cultural event center in the heart of Hollywood
Hollywood Forever is a full service funeral home, crematory, cemetery and cultural event center in the heart of Hollywood. One of the world’s most fascinating landmarks, its cemetery is the final resting place of hundreds of Hollywood’s founders and stars, along with thousands of neighborhood residents, and individuals from throughout the globe. Its cultural event program includes: outdoor classic film screenings, concerts, literature events, lectures, and live podcast tapings. It also hosts the largest Dia de Los Muertos event in the United States.
The content for the new Hollywood Forever website reflects the full range of their services, including separate pages for the funeral home, cemetery, memorial services, and crematory. The website features beautiful photographs of the grounds throughout. Those wishing to learn about Hollywood Forever’s cultural events enter the website through a separate portal.
Founded in 1899, the Hollywood Forever Cemetery was an integral part of the growth of early Hollywood. The cemetery of choice for most of the founders of Hollywood’s great studios, as well as writers, directors, and performers, Hollywood Forever Cemetery was listed on the National Register of Historic Sites in 1999.
