The New Website for Center for Domestic Peace Was More Accessible for Its Clients
Center for Domestic Peace provides safety net services to the women, children, and men who are experiencing domestic violence. The organization also provides education within the community to help prevent the cycle of domestic abuse. Center for Domestic Peace was founded in 1977 by a group of visionary women operating under the name Marin Abused Women’s Services (MAWS). Since then, the nonprofit has helped thousands of women, children and men achieve safe, productive lives.
An appealing, more accessible website
The primary objective of this project was to redesign the current website so that it would be more accessible and better able to assist its current and future clients, including the addition of calls to action and pages in Spanish. My role was to consult on the organization of the website, add SEO tags, and revise some of the text for additional clarity.
The result: an appealing, more accessible website that provides important information for survivors of domestic violence, as well as community members, donors and volunteers.
This project was a partnership with integrated web marketing agency Entropic Studio.
